My Prayer was answered when I met Dr Doherty, I was suffering from unbarable knee pain since 2002 after was forced to withdraw in the semi finals of the Fred Perry senior cup event ending my tennis activity since. I had a torn Meniscus surgery in 2018 with a little success. Golf became my prime hobby until I started strugling walking the course. Dr Doherty's evaluation and decission making to do the right procedure was a breath taking, and very impressive, I immediately started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, a none invasive Robot assisted knee replacement surgery was scheduled within a week. After the Surgery I took the first few steps with a walker but realized that I could walk without it ( not expected at all), only used it after wards for couple of days just for safty precautions. The two weeks evaluation appointment started with an X-Ray image was taken as I arrived, the knee construction was flawless and absolutely perfect, and immediately I felt like I have a mission to particpate in informing every friend or person that I know who is experiencing knee issues,specially the atheletes.
I am so thankful for the professionalism and caring of all UT physicians staff and nurses who participated with my hero Dr Doherty to implement such a sofisticated techonology in the medical field of knee replacements today including all the follow up continous efforts.

I hope this finds you in the best of health. I just want to reach out and thank you so much. It has been 2 yrs. Since I had my Hip surgery, I want to say thank you to Mrs. Amy who sets up the seminar and appointments for the hip surgery she was my angel. I've always jokingly and told him that I will be a spokesperson . When I first met he asked me what did I want to come out of this surgery I told him I wanted my quality of life back, at that time tmy daughter was graduating and I want to walk without hurting . I also told him that I wanted to be back active outside with my grandkids all the things that I spoke with him about it all came true

Dr. Doherty treated my father. Before going to him my father could barely walk and was constantly in pain. The Dr. was very clear about the procedure that was needed and did a great job executing it. My father has regained his mobility and is pain free. The staff are friendly and very professional. My father is 100% greatful for the wonderful care he received.
