I sent hunter and Chelsea 15-20 Exoctics and the same amount of whitetail last year. Everytime the meat was on point whether it was the sausage, or steaks or whatever cut we chose. They get your meat back to you very quickly and The taxidermy is top notch. They are very accommodating even meeting me at crazy hours after killing things so we didn’t spoil any meat. I highly recommend these guys you won’t be disappointed

I have had many deer and exotics processed here. Got sticks are great and bacon wrapped loins. Also had a few mounts done.

If you want high tech and online blah blah then this is not your place.

If you want to talk to a real person and get real answers and great advice on processing and taxidermy then this IS your place.

Breakfast sausage was older tasting and I brought 4 deer to them and picked them up 1 1/2 weeks later and won't be headed there no more. This is in Nov. 2017. The breakfast sausage has a dark brownish color from the wrapper towards the center of the roll about 7/8" deep then it gets red in color, which tells me this had been made a long time before I got there.
We own a large ranch there and won't suggest this facility to processing our clients any longer. Sorry for this message D&B but the facts are the facts.

I had already had one deer processed here and they were absolutely great. I had gotten another a couple weeks later in San saba and tried calling a place in town if you look up deer processing in San saba you will see the name and they were not helpful at all. So I said I'm just going back to D&B on the road there I called to ask prices on getting it made into different types of sausage the young lady at D&B was awesome she texted me over a menu with prices right away and they have been extremely helpful both times I went to them. This is now my go to place. Do yourself a favor if you hunt in San saba or surrounding areas skip the big name processor in San saba and make the short trip to Cherokee and visit D&B.
