Would not recommend. I had an appointment a couple months ago. I wanted my yearly checkup and told them that. I was new to the practice. I waited 45 mins after my appointment time to be seen. Then another 20 minutes in the room. Time management is not a priority here. This appointment was also after lunch time, so there's no excuse to have the first patient wait almost an hour after a break. I had my checkup and left. I was then hit up with a $500 lab bill because they sent it to a lab that was out of network. Luckily I had the sense to call them up and ask. After calling several times, different days and different times, I finally spoke to someone at the front desk. She was very pleasant and told me they'll let the lab know they're out of network and they will eat the cost. I was also hit up with almost $100 for the visit. I called several times to the billing department and left messages until I finally tried callung the front desk, again after several calls, so they could have billing call me.
My wellness check up is supposed to be covered 100% but because I'm new to the practice and being asked a ton of questions, they decided to bill my insurance as an "issue" appointment which was no longer covered by insurance and would go against my deductible. When I finally talked to billing, they said the office manager said it was due to me discussing issues. So I guess I should have NOT answered any questions and told the PA-C to not ask me anything. I called to talk to the office manager, who then told me that my appointment never should have involved the wellness portion since I was a new patient and they don't "normally" do anything in that first appointment other than intake? So if they weren't supposed to do any checkup, why did the nurse tell me to undress as soon as I was taken to the room? I received different answers as to why billing was done differently. Now I'm forced to pay out of pocket for something that should have been covered 100%. So now I will 100% never go back and warn others to stay away, unless you have money to throw at them and waste a couple hours of your time.

Dr. Karon has seen me through a lot. I hadn't been to her office since 2015 after she did my last laparoscopy because I went to an office closer to home - which turned out to be a nightmare. I called her office, the friendly staff got me in and during my visit she spent over 30 minutes with me. Not only did she explain what was going on, but she found another issue that MANY doctors either overlooked or was uninformed on. Yes, I waited a long time to be seen in the office area as the other reviews state and yes, there was a wait once I got back into my room - but she is worth the wait. I am so thankful for Dr. Karon and her staff. I will save myself the trouble and make the drive and suffer the wait time. Thank you all again!

Had my annual exam with Susan, one of the PAs at Dr. Karon’s practice. Susan was very kind, friendly and patient. The phlebotomist Kim is an absolute riot, she is hilarious and I barely felt the needle! I’ll be coming to Dr. Karon’s office for my women’s health needs from now on.

Dr. Karon has been the best doctor I have ever came across. She delivered all three of my children and I am so grateful for her. Her staff was always so sweet. All three of my children were csections and she really took her time and I hardly have a scar from all three. My first baby was an Emergency csection and I know if I did not have her guidance I would have not felt safe and would have been in complete shock and panic. She really is amazing and I recommend her to everyone.

They overbook. I had an initial appointment. They were VERY late in taking me back (over an hour late). The tech, or whatever she was, was VERY rude and insisted upon me getting completely undressed so they could do an ultraound when that had nothing to do with my issue. She was aggressive, and when I told her that I was uncomfortable, she blocked my way out of the room- I had to ask her to move!

They don't answer their phone. Another patient tried to call because she was running late; the ladies at the desk were not kind or helpful about her situation.

I would not recommend this office.

Dr Karon is wonderful but I have called for 3 whole days back to back and no one can answer the phone in the office!
SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
And due to this reason I do NOT recommend.
They also told me the call before coming into my appointment incase she is delivering a baby because they would have to reschedule knowing that she has a NP there too.
I changed my OB after this

Dr Karon delivered my daughter in 2008. I didn’t think my insurance covered years later, when I had issues arise. I had prolapse of the uterus and cervix, I went to another gynecologist who told me if pelvic floor therapy doesn’t help then there was pretty much no hope. My sister is a firm believe of dr. Karon. She told me to call and make sure she takes my insurance I did so and to my surprise she did! I went to her she started to tell me what she was going to do to help me. The other gynecologist said he couldn’t do a hysterectomy because all of my other organs would drop after that, Dr. Karon knew what to do to help me. Fast forward less than one month she done a hysterectomy on me I am a week out from surgery . There was a great deal of pain for me after surgery. That has lessened somewhat I have nothing hanging from me that shouldn’t be. I feel very grateful to dr Karon! And thankful my sister pushed me ti go back to her again! I will never go to another gynecologist! Dr Karon is very knowledgeable in her work! Never lose hope when there is someone like Dr. Karon! Back so give an update unfortunately; i had a second surgery to correct a fistula repair I had previously with another doctor. The procedure with him done wonderful. Had no issues going into surgery for a hysterectomy. Two days later I was passing stool where I shouldn’t be. I am a little over a month after surgery and now my fistula is back. After voicing my concerns she keeps saying everything looks fine but it isn’t fine. Having stool coming from areas it shouldn’t be. Called and left a message and nobody has yet to get back to me, 3 days later. So I have to update and say for delivery with my daughter she was wonderful in 2008 for the fistula repair verdict is still out. Let’s see if I can get a call back or if I have to just show up at her office. Ok so back to give a update my fistula is back I am now going to have to go to Cleveland and have surgery for my reoccurring fistula. I’m not sure if the surgery created it or not. But I went back to my colorectal surgeon and this is what I’ve been told. I’m not happy about it but I will have to have a bag till my rectovaginal fistula heals. 😥
