My son and I attended a concert at this venue this weekend. I had never been here before, but this place was fantastic. Everyone who worked here was friendly, there was lots of space for the event, the portable bathrooms were clean and easy to use and they had plenty available so you didn’t have to wait very long. We were able to be close to the stage, and enjoyed the show thoroughly because of the intimacy of the venue. They had two bars, and I never waited more than a few minutes for a drink. And, the drinks were very reasonable in price. I look forward to coming back here for more events in the future, and have saved it as one of my favorite places.

I helped set up for Ripple Fest everyone who worked there was so considerate. My first time in Austin and the Far Out coming from California. They let me put my insulin in the refrigerator behind the bar so that it didn't expire on 100° day. Everybody was so friendly. They have cool art there too and liquid light shows. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try their food but the menu looks delicious!
It's a very nice spacious outdoor area. The outdoor bathrooms are really nice too! I just wish Ripple festival and Levitation was during the winter during cooler temperatures ?

Dusty open area noisy by the street not a place to have nice music performance especially when it starts raining, no place to sit . For younger crowds and hip types it’s cool to hangout.

Being from out of town, this was my first time here. The atmosphere is excellent. We were very impressed with the outside stage and layout! From the outside, you would never know how great this place is! I can not wait to come back and see another show here! We saw the Heavy Heavy and what a delight. Parking was super easy and very, very safe! The drinks were great and so was the service. I met a few new friends as well.. People are happy and friendly.

One of the first places I visited when I first moved to Austin. I love the atmosphere & music. I’ve been here for funk bands, local bands, “scream along” karaoke, Selena tribute bands, V-Day & psych fest & various vintage or artists markets. I’ve had some awesome memories here & it’s also a cool place to bring people from out of town.

When there are large events PARKING is very LIMITED so PLAN AHEAD… I parked across the street at torchy’s tacos once for about 15 min & when I went back to move my car it was already towed. Don’t make my mistake my car was in the tow lot for about 10 min before I picked it up & it cost $250 lol

I love the Austin Rotisserie food truck. My favorite is the whole birds with the potatoes (great for sharing) & there Sammy’s

I’m not sure if it’s still there but the air stream trailer called “Plant Porn” with all 3D printed pots & plants does not disappoint and I have a few!

Atmosphere was chilled out. Music was great, Vel the Wonder was the beez kneez. The food was great, they had two buses towards the back.

今天检索“what to do in Austin today”，就显示集成这个城市所有活动链接的网站，然后看到了一个门票只要3美元，从17:00持续到23:00的演唱会。

到了后才发现，这其实就是人家社区（街区）搞的活动，他们在简易的一个停车场空地用木栅栏围起了一片空地，然后居民推车就来卖自己做的吃的、手工艺品、塔罗牌算命、印刷带社区logo的衬衫，还有父亲带着几岁大的女儿卖冰柠汁。当然主要大家还是来这儿听社区摇滚。

这个场景有点像台湾傍晚全家逛朴素的小区夜市的感觉。这个时间点也应该是伊朗人一起携家带口去清真寺礼拜的时间。搁很多年前，中国村子也应该有类似的台子给村民唱戏。现在的中国对应的只有广场舞和夜市，当然前者是提供给妇女交流的，后者往往是消费的，大量的5～50岁男性似乎还没有产生合适的社区生活。

活动表演者会强调门票用于维护社区，不同的几位歌手唱前也说了一大堆感恩社区给她生活之类的话。基本上家长也带着娃出来听，从婴儿就开始接受美国传统曲艺的熏陶和跟邻居们一个个混脸熟。美国完整的按照自发秩序，保存着“家庭—社区—城市—州—国”的认同步骤。家庭之外，首先认同自己社区的一切，捐助和做服务，都是以社区为优先位，也不会觉得社区生活就low。其次城市或区域的认同，所谓认同，不是靠刷标语搞文宣，跟家庭、社区一样，还是在遇到事情的时候，到底城市和区域是不是以该地民众权利做为第一优先位做出决策的。至于州的认同，在德州这种有自己自治传统地方就更明显了，通过议会立法之类跟人身权利相关的事情，人民自然就参与到州的认同过程中。最后是一个遥远的国民认同。古人云：知所先后则近道。

所有人的权利受到侵害，只能是被身边的人侵害的。你不可能也不应该在权利被侵害后向遥远的人或概念去讨说法，你只能先从身边下手。每个人建立权力靠的也是这一层层，先有真实肉体生活的社区共同体，无条件保护自己人。而不是出卖自己人向上一级邀功。这一点不需要理性和什么启蒙的哲学训练，也不需要拍电视拍电影增加爱家爱城市爱州爱国教育，是从婴儿参与生活获得的直觉和感性。

碎石子和暗淡不修边幅的停车场，比点亮各种射灯和装修靓丽写满美丽标语的大广场，更生生不息。
