I spoke with Karen Bentley from the financial aid office and had the BEST experience that i EVER have had at CTC. She was so helpful and informative on how to finish out my degree and some questions that i had. I left knowing everything possible, all my questions answered and information that i didn't even know. Her customer service was NOTHING short than amazing! People like her help students to be successful and never become discouraged. KAREN I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH!

I had my reservations, but this office has truly come through. I received a full grant through Fafsa and watched my award letter funds to the T. I always received my exact amount back in a check and never had a problem taking classes without them being paid on time. I have now ended my time with this institution and I must say, they have truly been on target. Walk in face-to-face is always best. Their phone communication used to be spot on but lately a phone call goes unanswered.

Very rude and unprofessional; staff is extremely sarcastic. You will be more confused after speaking with them than you were before. The staff isn't willing to pull up your account and help you out. Would definitely give them -5 stars if I could.

In the wake of covid this office has become a nightmare. I have literally called this office everyday for three weeks to assist my freshman sister with her aid application not being received/being given wrong information by one of your representatives. I literally called today on a whim and got through. The man is rude as hell I get that he probably has an influx of calls due to covid but I didn’t do anything to you sir. I work at a school as well and I would never huff “Jesus Christ” when asked a simple question by a student. I was respectful but this office has ignored me for 3 weeks and now we have to pay out of pocket because of the negligence of this office.

They will hold your grants and aid until the last day without regard to all the students and their financial hardship. There are students who have to pay for things for class etc they just don’t care.

I have never come across such a horrible institution. Start financial aid a year in advance because it will take that long. I dont know where to begin, but I will end with be ready for them to be unproffessional, not answer phones, give wrong information, and totally screw you over. They deserve a zero.
