A&B Hunter are the only ones we will use for our sewer needs! They were recommended to us by one of our city water employees to use and are SO thankful for that recommendation! We have terrible pipes and they need cleaned out about once a year so A&B always takes care of us! Thank You!! Prompt reliable and reasonable!!

We called to have our sewer drain cleaned to help our bathroom drain properly. Dave came out to take a look and also clean our clean out for what we believed was for the bathroom. He soon realized that our system was set up different and we needed to find the actual clean out for the bathroom. Once this was located he spent nearly 2 hours getting the ball of roots out of the pipe. I really appreciate the hard work and determination of fixing the problem. I highly recommend this company and will use them for any further issues.

The staff was very kind and understanding towards my drain problem. They quickly came out, spend a goodly amount of time finding and resolving the problem. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate a business that is not looking to take advantage of me. Work was complicated, yet A &B Hunter's persistence resolved it. Had an apartment sewer backup, and called the "Other Guys" with their $99 dollar scam. There is a reason why its was only $99. After they couldn't get the clog I gave this company a call and the Owner himself came out right away on a Sunday and had the clog fixed in 10min. Extremely knowledgeable and has the equipment to get the job done. Fairly priced and will be using them again in the future. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Thank you AB Hunter. I had a different company come last week told me I had a clogged pipe and it would cost $6000.00 to have pipe dug up and repaired. AB Hunter came out today and had everything working again with in the hour. they even gave senior discount. I will sure refer them to everyone I know that needs help. the two brothers who own the company are very knowledgeable and very friendly.

I began having sewer issues Thursday, December 26th. I called Mr. Rooter at 4 pm that evening. I had an appointment scheduled for 8-10 the next day, Friday December 27. The technician came to my house at 8:40 am Friday morning. He accessed my line via the b cleanout as well as inside the house. He was able to pull a few roots but was not able to identify the problem. Since he could not identify the problem, he had to escalate the senior technician. He stated the senior technician was right behind and would be at my house soon. The senior technician would have a camera and better tools to "look" into the issue. I wrote a check for 120 dollars to Mr. Rooter for services rendered. The technician left.

The senior technician arrived at 4:10 pm. He used his camera and tools to look at my issue. Within ten minutes, he stated the b cleanout to the house was fine but the b cleanout to the main sewer was the problem. He let me know the pipe was full of mud, he couldn't see with the camera or get through. He asked if I had a recent tree removed or an earth quake. I said "no". He assumed that, since the pipe was so full of mud, the pipe must have collapsed. He stated the work would be around 6.5 thousand to start but could possibly go to 10 or 30K. I asked, if he was in my position, what would he do? He stated he would beg, borrow or steal to get the work done. I asked if there was a patch or quick fix he could do and he said no, since the pipe was full of mud. It was 4:30 pm on a Friday night. The technician urged me to make a decision to get my work order in as soon as possible. The sooner I paid, the sooner I would get priority of the excavation crew. I didn't see any other options available to me and asked to proceed with the work. He drew up the paper work, I signed the contract and I paid a 3 thousand dollar deposit. He left soon after. He did give me his direct cell phone for any questions.

Throughout the weekend, I began to doubt and question what Mr. Rooter had said and quoted. Monday, December 30th at 8:30 am, Dave and I spoke on the phone. After talking the issue over with Dave and my father, I decided to have a second opinion on the work. I called Mr. Rooter at 8:45 am to cancel my appointment. Mr. Rooter stated the crew had been in route and I would receive a call from someone later. I acknowledge that I was the one breaking the contract and if there was a fee to my last minute cancellation, I understood. However, A&B Hunter Sewer Service had done amazing work for my parents in the past and I felt comfortable taking the risk with changing companies.

Dave from A&B Hunter Sewer Service was able to come at 11:30 am. He snaked the b cleanout to the to the house and found to clog immediately. Within 5 minutes, he had the line open and flowing. To be safe and to help my peace of mind, he snaked the from the b cleanout 70 feet to the main sewer line. He found no resistance, no clog, no mud and no collapsed pipe. He went in with a 3 inch and 6 inch cutter and cleared both ways of the b cleanout (to the house and to the main sewer). I wrote a check for 150 dollars to A&B Hunter Sewer Service for services rendered.

I am truly sad and ashamed of how I was treated by Mr. Rooter. This situation was incredibly stressful. I was very vulnerable and exposed. I felt I had no option with my situation based on the feedback from Mr. Rooters technicians. I feel Mr. Rooter took advantage of my vulnerability, inexperience and pressured me to purchase their services. I am still awaiting the return of or portion of my 3 thousand dollars from Mr. Rooter as well as their promised phone call.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude and thanks to Dave and A&B Hunter Sewer Service. Dave was honest, open and showed me exactly what he was doing. He took the time to educate me, so I could be better prepared for future issues. Dave and A&B Hunter Sewer Service saved me from spending thousands of dollars. I will recommend them to any friend or family member. I will never call another company again.
