I recently had the pleasure of undergoing an upper blepharoplasty and facial fat transfer with Dr. Patel. I had noticed significant sagging in my upper eyelids and a loss of facial volume. I was looking to appear more refreshed and less tired. After consulting with several local plastic surgeons, I decided to travel to have this procedure done with Dr. Patel, who came highly recommended. After meeting him, I understood why. His bedside manner, care, and attention to detail are second to none. He and his staff were excellent to work with and showed genuine compassion.

The procedure itself was straightforward. It was performed in-office under local anesthesia. Although I was nervous, Dr. Patel and his staff made me feel at ease, and the experience was painless. Today, nine days post-procedure, I look and feel great. The overall recovery was smooth, with only mild swelling and bruising and no pain. If you are considering a procedure like this with Dr. Patel, go for it! He has been wonderful to work with and is a true facial artist. 🤌🤌

Addressing my breathing concerns while also cosmetically enhancing my nose has been something I wanted to do for over a decade. For many years, I had issues with breathing through my nose, as well as, multiple sinus infections a year.
I've always had a specific cosmetic goal I wanted to achieve when changing my nose shape. I am very particular when it comes to my appearance and I aimed to find a doctor/ surgeon that I could trust.
I first heard about Dr. Patel from my brother-in-law who worked within UK. I looked through his website and Instagram to find result photos that matched my goals. I found he did reconstructive work that had stellar results, which made me confident we could achieve my breathing and cosmetic goals. Scrolling through his work on Instagram, I found he previously created artwork. Being an artist myself, that showed me his work combined both medical expertise and an artistic eye.
I had a few appointments for us to discuss my cosmetic goals, insurance, costs, and expectations.
I was worried about not getting my surgery before my insurance would change, but the team got me in quickly and gave me more than enough time. Every question and concern I had was answered and Dr. Patel was very informative and supportive before and after my surgery.
The results of my surgery have been everything I have wanted and yearned for since I was a teenager. My confidence, especially with my side profile has been boosted. I can't stop taking photos and looking at my nose in the mirror. I am truly so happy. I know Dr. Patel was very detail-oriented and really spent the time working on my nose and I am beyond appreciative and grateful.

I had oral stage 3 cancer surgery about 18 months ago. Half of my bottom lip was removed then reconstructive facial plastic surgery by Dr Amit Patel. After surgery I had problems with drooling as well as eating and talking plainly. Dr Patel suggested in office fat grafting procedure where fat was taken from my belly and filled into my bottom lip. It has helped tremendously with all my areas of concern. I highly recommend this procedure if you are having same problems as I had. I recommend DrPatel in general. Great Dr.

I underwent bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty and fat grafting with Dr. Patel. I am pleased with every encounter with him and his wonderful staff.
The initial office visit for the evaluation went well with him explaining the procedure and answering all my questions.
When I arrived at the clinic at UK, the staff greeted me , I was checked in and taken directly to the treatment room. After a quick change into a gown, Dr. Patel arrived.
Although I could feel/assume what he was doing, I was not in pain during the procedure.
I was surprised when I received a call from Dr. Patel the evening of my procedure and the following day.
He and his staff were courteous, friendly, and obviously experienced.
I am a retired RN but I was still quite nervous about the procedures. I was reassured by the pre-op explanation of the procedures and the calm confidence I felt when I entered the treatment room and throughout the procedures.
My vision is much better with the excess tissue removed and I am so glad I had this procedure.

I was referred to Dr. Patel for revision open septorhinoplasty by another dr. I had 2 prior nasal surgeries with other surgeons and was still having difficulty breathing through my nose. My first was a septoplasty and I felt horrible after it as I ended up taking time to recover and still not breathing. After my surgery , my wheezing sound got louder and I had more trouble breathing. I knew something was not right so I saw another dr. My second dr mentioned a latera implant. A less invasive surgery that would make me breathe better. After doing it, it worked for the first couple of days and then went back to worse later on. He referred me to Dr. Patel. I was hesitant to see another dr as I just was not ready for a third failed surgery. In my first consult with Dr. Patel, I mentioned to him that I want to avoid any surgeries because of my bad experience. He recommended a CT scan. He didn’t want to make any recommendations before identifying my problem. Post my CT scan, he thoroughly explained to me the problem and why I’m having that problem. For once, I finally felt that someone understand the problem I am dealing with. That’s when Dr. Patel recommended the surgery. He knew I hated surgeries so he didn’t push me to the surgery in any point but did point out all the functional benefits. I took a month or so to think about it then said yes to it. I’m almost 2 weeks post my surgery with Dr. Patel and I couldn’t be happier. I’m no longer breathing from my mouth. No wheezing sound. And more importantly, I can breathe. Dr. Patel team has been nothing but great to me and my family as they made sure we understood everything and kept my fam updated throughout my surgery. Thank you Dr. Patel and a big thank you for your team! You guys are the best!

I highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about having a surgery. After 2 failed surgeries, I was so scared to do another surgery but I’m so glad I trusted Dr. Patel!

In the fall of 2022 I noticed red bumps on the end of my nose that progressively got worse and became very sore. I was diagnosed with Rhinophyma and was sent to a dermatologist who explained Rosacea is the cause of the problem. They explained to me the traditional method of treatment and also asked me if I would be interested in seeing a plastic surgeon Dr Patel.
