Had used B and K for two moves back in 2014 and they were great which is why we chose to use them again for a move from PA to NJ for my MIL versus using the NJ company we had used locally here. BIG mistake. They are not the same company they were in 2014 (may be the same owner, but the "help" is akin to Moe, Larry and Curly.)

Boxes were moved and placed upside down, boxes marked fragile had obvious signs of weight having been placed on them. Multiple items broken in the boxes despite careful wrapping and bubble wrap.

They were more concerned about trying to get a piece of normal weight furniture (a dresser and chest) onto a dolly to move 20 feet than actually just lifting and carrying. And their efforts to get on the dolly was wasted time and a comedy act of epic proportions...along with the 25 minute break that was not deducted from the hours along with the corn hole tosses...

Plus it took then 2 hours to get from Delco to NJ which, even in the heaviest of traffic, has only taken us a little over an hour.

They got an extra star (to 2) because they had to move in the heat.

And it truly pains me to write this review since they were great 10 years ago but now they suck.

We used B&K to move from our row home to single home. It was a very bad experience. They dragged out our move sooo long and charged us $1,850 to move our stuff. They scratched furniture, lost parts to stuff, and left our house/garage a bloody mess just putting stuff everywhere. Also they didn’t even unload the whole truck by themselves. My husband and our friend helped unload after hours of waiting for them. They took their sweet time to run up the time and charge more money. Also, the movers they sent us were a 60+ year old man with bad knees, and 2 19 year old kids that were high and goofing off the whole time. Horrible. We also called the owner a few days later saying we were missing a rug and asking if he could do something about our scratched (expensive) furniture. And the owner cursed my husband out on the phone.

Edit to add: no, we used your company. Not one in another state. My review is 100% accurate to our experience. August 2021

Everyone knows how stressful moving day can be and the days leading up to that day! One call to B & K Moving, instantly I felt better. B & K showed up promptly that day with the right size truck and all necessary equipment to ensure a smooth transition. They handled every piece of furniture/ box with care. The guys were amazing! Literally I had to do nothing! I highly recommend this company. I couldn’t have done it without them!

Top Notch service! Jason, Eric, and another gentleman we're respectful, courteous, and extremely hard working. Moving is always a hectic and chaotic experience but B and K made it efficient and enjoyable. I couldn't be happier with the experience and I will recommend this company to everyone I know. We had a very chaotic move with a double settlement day. We had tj work with B and K on two separate days to pack the truck one day and deliver another. Both crews (there was some overlap) were fantastic. We have a lot of stuff (books and such) and we had a piece we had to take out a window, but they took it all in stride. They were professional, came up with a plan to Jenga all our stuff, and were funny and kind while doing it. They reported anything questionable to us. And everything arrived safely. We have nothing but good things to say and they were the cheapest quote by a mile. And available… which not everyone was!

I just used B and K movers on December 1, 2023. The move was seamless, professional and easy. The three young men arrived at my home on time, loaded, drove and unloaded in 4 hours. Nothing was damaged, they placed everything exactly where I asked...just fabulous!! This is the second time I used this company--they moved me 10 years ago to the house I just sold. Repeat business is the sure sign of a good experience!

B&K Moving did a great job with my move. I did some price comparisons, and while moving is more expensive than ever, their pricing was competitive with the market. I found my movers kind, courteous, fast, and friendly. They never complained, no matter how many flights of stairs they had to go up or down. I was very nervous about handing over everything I own to strangers, but everything went so well. I would recommend B&K to anyone looking for reliable help moving.

I am so happy with the work B&K Movers did for my local move of a three bedroom house. Amber at the office was highly responsive to all of my calls and questions. I paid a really reasonable price for what was an eight hour day for them. They were the only moving company who actually gave me a ballpark quote without me having to tell them how many boxes I had. I had no idea how many I was going to have. I did box my own stuff. The packer in the truck was incredible. And the rest of the crew, three men, did an excellent job and moved everything in with great care. I still can’t believe how low the price was compared to other companies I called. They also moved a heavy electronic mattress/bed and perfectly installed it on the other end. I would highly recommend B&K to anyone I know. And many thanks to them for getting me through a stressful process with the ease they did. 🙂
