This was by far the most unique place I’ve ever stayed! There is such a calm, cozy and welcoming vibe here that we didn’t want to leave! Mitch was the best host ever, but he was more just like a friend!
The location is perfect, and there is a bus stop right outside.

Highly recommend staying here, it made our visit to Breckenridge a great experience. ☺️

My brother and I stayed in one of the queen rooms at this lodge, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and cozy, and the overall house setup was super cool, with tons of unique art that added so much character.

Mitch, the host, was welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast and coffee were such a nice touch. You really can’t beat the price for the quality, especially compared to other options in the area. Plus, the location was perfect—close to both the mountain and the town.

I don’t usually stay at lodges (I’m more of a hotel or Airbnb person), but this experience completely changed my perspective. It’s made me excited to try lodges in other cities and ski towns. Highly recommend!

This was honestly the most perfect accomodation experience we've ever had. Mitch was so, so welcoming, he really makes you feel like family. The bed was so comfortable, there were so many amenities, and the location was PERFECT. We will absolutely be coming back to the Bunk House as soon as we can! Highly recommend.

Warm and inviting vibe with unique rustic charm. Clean, comfortable and close to everything the bustling Town of Breckenridge has to offer but removed just enough to be able to enjoy the quiet serenity and closeness to nature that Colorado is known for. Stayed here at Mitch's bunk house lodge during a thru hike. This place is so cozy and I loved every bit of it. Mitch is going out of his way to accommodate you in every way you need. Loved the stay!

Bunkhouse is truly the best. Mitch is a legend, feels like hes's just having friends over every night not just customers staying at his lodge. Warm and welcoming place to be yourself and enjoy good company. Definitely will stay again! Really cool history about the place and an important and valuable space for building community amonst many different folk that intersect at this positive energy vortex.

This is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination but it is warm, friendly, and unique. The main clientele during my stay were backpackers. An eclectic array continually pass through. There are individual rooms but even with that it has the hostel feel. Mitch is a one-man band so don’t expect him to cater to your every need. He is highly chatty when he is there but he is perpetually busy and not always on-site.
