I love this school, the academic level is very high, my daughter has been attending this school since Kindergarten and ALL of her teachers had been AMAZING, professional and dedicated! she came from a Montessori private school and the change was super smooth. The principal is a hard working woman who teach and leads students by example ❤️ I couldn’t be more PROUD to be part of the Franklin Academy of Pembroke Pines! GREAT SCHOOL !!!!

Love the school but the summer camp is very unorganized to a point that my 6 years old daughter along with 3 other kids got lost in the museum during a field trip. My daughter and the other kids had to find a stranger to look for the person responsible for the kids. Once we confronted the person responsible we got mix information that she was present but at the same time she was not and witness everything. How can the kids have enough time to find a stranger and this stranger look for the teacher? according to the person responsible for the kids she was there

I love the school! Great teachers, students, and very clean school. I've been in that school since 1st grade and I will say this school is a million times better than my old school. The students are very nice and are no bullies in this school. You can find your life-time bestfriend in this school. I certainly did! I have lots of friends in other schools and most of them wanna come here. They really should! If you are trying to find a school with great teachers, fun activities, nice students, clean school, and where your child can learn in a safe and fun way you should definitely come to our amazing school! If you do come trust me it will be way better for you are your child! I hope this review helped you. Byeeeeee!!!!!!!

I moved my children from Weston public school to Franklin. We have to drive 25 min to get there from were we live but is worth the drive. Both my daughters go to Franklin. 3 years already starting in kindergarden and 2nd grade. So far so good. Teachers are amazing, very caring. School is very organized and there is no homework.

Unfortunately the school has a bad reputation. Teacher Saso the PE teacher is most disrespectful person ever. She treats kids bad and parents worse. She needs to be removed from that position. I pulled out my kids from that school and they are happy and treated well in their new school.
Horrible experience.
There are good schools in the area and there is not need to spend two hours to pick up your kids daily.

This school was amazing! As far as the teachers and most of the students, everyone is really nice and friendly. The administration isn't that great though. As for cleanliness, it used to be a bigger problem in the first three years that the school opened but it's not anymore. The boy's bathroom is said to be, um, not very clean but the girls bathroom usually is. Its a small school, which is what I like because everyone knows everyone. I've been going here for 7 years and sadly have to leave, but my experience here was AMAZING! Definitely much better than a public school

Edit: I'm editing this review 8 months later. I wrote the above paragraph before I'd switched schools and Franklin was the only school I knew/remembered. I started at a public school this year, and I have to say, I'd like to change my rating to a 6/5 stars. People complained about the "No-Homework Policy, claiming that there was homework" and I have to tell them that they were wrong. If they consider taking a worksheet or two that they didn't finish in class, 'homework,' they're mistaken. Yes, if you don't finish work in class, you take it home, and you may even spend thirty minutes on it but that is nothing compared to actual homework. Actual homework is spending two hours (minimum) completing assignments due at midnight, assignments that you don't even know about until you get home. People can complain all they want about infrastructure problems like AC or cleanliness, but at other schools, roof construction goes on every day, during lessons. The AC doesn't work for half the year, and when it does, you have to come to school with two jackets because it's so cold. I will say this, the kids at Franklin are sheltered. The administration isn't completely supportive either, at least in my cases. I had a qualifying score on the 5th grade Math FSA but wasn't placed in the right class and administration refused to place me in the advanced class. When we tried to contact them, asking to take it in the summer, we were ignored. In a similar situation with a Coach pressuring me to exercise more while I was fasting for religious reasons, my family was ignored until we informed them we would take legal action. Then, they accommodated for me. These issues are still weak compared to other schools. I don't have experience with private schools, but even the second best public school in the county doesn't measure up to Franklin. I apologize for the long reply, and thank you for reading.
