Dr Ain was excellent. My care will never be as good without him. Shame on UK. Between them basically pushing him out, and the terrible way I was treated with UK student dental... the University of Kentucky is now my last choice for care.

I was a patient of Dr. Ain for 18 years and traveled 6 hours for appointments. In the early years with him, I feel I got great care. Then things changed. He would criticize my weight-while he was not thin or in shape. My blood pressure was always high at his office, but never at any other doctor’s office. He would lecture me on that which made my stress level higher. My thyroid cancer had been under control for many years and thanks to his expertise, it stayed that way. I did not, however appreciate the loud lectures, waiting an hour or more to see him, waiting for tests an hour past the scheduled time. I decided to continue my care in my hometown and am getting much better care. His care changed drastically around 2017 and beyond. He lectured loudly and was not very pleasant.

Dr. Ain was my physician for over 14 years. He was a fantastic physician who cared deeply about his patients and I would still be seeing him if he had not had so many issues with UK in 2017, when I had to have a second surgery. I was so encouraged that he read all of his own body scan reports and didn't count on someone to provide that information for me. I would recommend him to anyone that has the opportunity to have him as a thyroid cancer doctor.

Dr Kenneth Ain saved my life! Flat out! I had papillary thyroid cancer which turned into anaplastic Thyroid cancer the one that killed Judge Renquist in supreme court. I belong to an ATC Support group at ThyCa. When I was diagnosed from him it was because another doctor had missed it. The Internet called it more or less certain death in 2017 when I got it. He assembled a Team of doctors the same day he diagnosed me. I had a one and 60 chance of living six months. One in 600 chance of living five years it's been 6 1/2! His asbergers is so high functioning that I didn't know until today that he had it. My family loves him and I do too. He gave me very aggressive chemotherapy and radiation as well as frequent testing. The radiation has left me with some defects but I am alive and a happy grandfather thanks to Dr Ain. As far as that one guy saying he couldn't get medicine, that's plain and simple. If you call UKs Telephone number you have to leave a message and they don't tell the doctor until the next day and one time the doctor didn't even get my message. With Doctor Ain You email him and I usually get my prescription called in that evening. He also gives refills on Leo thyroxine for a Year. He has battled insurance companies for me On claims for tests or medicine that they have denied and he always wins. I have suffered both mentally and physically and the only reason I am better and alive is Dr Ain. But just like reporting the tornadoes you always put the goofy guy On the video. Any delays and medication I'm sure were the fault of UK. Their messaging system is not the best. A doctor from ThyCa Said that Kenneth Ain put ATC On the map! This man has Addressed every single complaint I have had with pain sickness referring me to other doctors, getting test scheduled personally by himself for me and Even ordering early test results while I was sitting in his office. Understand please that ATC Is just now beginning to make some progress treatment wise. Guys like Ken Have done this. He conducted the first clinical trials for ATC. Also understand that it is a fast killer and if it returns Knowing me as well as he does he and the oncologist are discussing a plan so that I won't die. Because this fellow didn't get his prescription, Dr Ain Has a Disability, if it returns I'll probably die. I Would like to thank Whoever started this for my death sentence. I hope everybody gets their medicine on time, and I hope it direct supervisor lives to a ripe old age and doesn't choke to death on tumors in the throat like I may. This is something not every doctor can do. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. So I thought I would squeak a little. And no I'm not a wealthy man and not affluent, just a guy who against all odds, Is alive today because of Kenneth Ain. I'll bet you don't print mine.

Dr Ain is an excellent Dr. he has followed me since 2018 for recurrent thyroid cancer. He has stayed on top of every finding n sends me to various specialists to review those findings. It is a sad day for his patients and for the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital that Dr. Ain is leaving. For the concern n well being of their patients the UK AB Chandler Hospital should be trying to find a way to keep Dr. Ain there.

Dr. Ain is the most wonderful Doctor that I have ever be associated with. I recently have been going to Dr. Ain with my Mother who has a rare form or Parathyroid Cancer and from the moment we came in contact with this Doctor, it was wonderful. Dr. Ain took the time and explained things no Doctor has ever done. This man is truly a God sent.

This man saved my life. I was lost with no way for treatment. Went BGMC they couldn't do anything and sent me to Vanderbilt and they wouldn't do anything. Dr Ain was heaven sent and he actually cares for every single one he sees. The university of Kentucky has done this man wrong.

Doctor Ain is an extremely knowledgeable and consistent physician. I have been under his care for the past year, and he is absolutely wonderful.

If you are visiting him for the first time expect a long consult. Unlike so many doctors who breeze in and out without really listening, this doctor does not. The first visit he will go over your entire history, address your issues thoroughly, ask you questions, and allow time for you to ask questions. He is a Professor so he does take time to explain/teach about the thyroid and proper treatment for thyroid cancer. By far he is one of the MOST competent, kind, direct, and thorough doctors I have met. I can not say enough good things about him.
