The doctor himself was friendly enough but not very good with explaining the goals and details of the skin test. I would have been fine with this, BUT a RED FLAG was when my baby had a reaction to the skin test, they told us to give her Benadryl when we get home (which was a 40min drive at least). I asked if they had Benadryl and they claimed they didn't have any. Allergist offices are supposed to have EMERGENCY plans and meds in case of severe reactions. My pediatrician's office carries Benadryl and EpiPens. I would think an allergist office would have this handy as well.

Great allergist. I guess some people need more hand holding but I was just there to help get rid of my allergies and he's helping with that a lot. I was so bad that I'm happy he worked fast and he does explain but in a very straightforward manner which I guess some may not like. I was glad for it otherwise I would use up all their tissues. While in the waiting room I asked a family that was there for their opinion and they said they've been going there for about 2 years and that's why they don't look like me anymore. Proof is in the pudding 🙂

EXTREMELY TERRIBLE service! Dr. Kothari doesn't explain what he's going to do and just says "go into the room" and suddenly his nurse is about to you a test with 60 needles. He is so much in a rush to see as many patients as possible to earn all the fees. Despite me asking him to explain the course of the treatment, he just gave me a piece of paper to read. A doctor is supposed to explain the diagnostic method and course of treatment instead of handing patients a piece of paper to read when they go home and consultation fee of $350 for me to read a piece of paper?!?!? I literally had to stop his nurse when she was about to give the allergy test and ask her what will be the treatment after the diagnosis and she said that the treatment will take 4-5 year!!!! WHAT, you should have told me this BEFORE when I asked you. No where in the info sheet did it say 4-5 years for the treatment. DO NOT GO TO HIS OFFICE!

Found this doctor to be distasteful in the way he communicates. After my son received testing for allergies he made the comment "I'm going to be able to retire off this one." A little difficult to listen to when "This One" is my child, and the implied retirement plan was me.

Dr. Kothari is a good doctor although some patient may not like him for his old school thinking. I visited him when my child had an asthma or bronchial attack during our visit to US. Dr. Kothari understood the situation and suggested a treatment that worked.

Guys this is scam, zero communications , getting injections for months and not felling any better
I used to pay cash $40 for the injections and when i had insurance the price went up because he wants to get money from both insurance and me
He is charging my insurance $800 from a service i didn't have the service at all (confirmed that because when i call him he said you don't have to pay your part which is $65)
the first time when booked an appointment on ZOCDOC he called me saying we have a technical issues please cancel your appointment there because he doesn't want to pay ZOCDOC for the service (reported to ZOCDOC)

Very bad doctor he don’t let the patients describe what brought them to him and he stops you using his hand while talking to him not even saying something like excuse me or something else.and he didn’t tell you exactly what you have just take this medication and come back after 2 weeks.

Doesn’t explain any services (I had to ask every step of the way what are you doing, what happens next, etc...) and just says it’ll cost $600... would not recommend going to him.
