Dear Life: The Place to Be Team,
A year ago, Leila had a vision of a dance party that combined the traditional elements of a Sweet Sixteen with the lively atmosphere of a nightclub, where she could dance all night surrounded by the most important people in her life. Today, I am thrilled to say that Life: The Place to Be, and especially Chelsea, made this vision a reality.
We've been hearing nonstop from everyone about how amazing the party was, and Leila woke up this morning thanking us for how perfect everything was. I want to express our gratitude and let you know that you all will be remembered for making this event so special.
You truly knew what you were doing. I was stressed, but it's the kind of stress that comes with happy moments, like a wedding or having a baby—stressful but filled with joy. On this special day for my daughter, it was a good kind of stress, and it was eased thanks to Chelsea, who brought her touch and expertise to the event.
If you are ever looking to add more vendors to your team, I would highly recommend our DJ, the photo booth operator, and the videographer. They were fantastic! Steve, from the moment we walked in, you were incredible. The entire staff—bartenders, security, everyone—was warm and friendly, and their positive energy was contagious.
Thank you, Denise. Thank you, Chelsea. And thank you to the entire Life: The Place to Be team for making Leila’s Sweet Sixteen a night to remember!
Steve, I remember the night before the party when you told me, "Claudia, this will be the best party for everyone to talk about." You were absolutely right—it was the best party ever!

We used Life the Place to be for our daughter's 3rd bday and it was a great choice. The staff were nice and the layout and the execution of the details were good... we had a nice time. We would use them again.

As a mother of four girls, this was the third Sweet 16 I've done but my first time choosing LIFE and I have to say - it was the most stress free and seamless party I've thrown to date. We were looking for a true party space and found it here. From not having to worry about over the top, costly, decorations (because the space lighting is sufficient), having an event coordinator, to an extensive menu to choose from, it was a great experience. It's close to highways and has lots of parking, which made it extremely convenient for my guests who were traveling from the tri-state area. Steven, Denise, Chelsea and the entire staff made sure to accommodate to our needs from Day 1. We truly enjoyed our experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a non-traditinal, modern, event space. Perfect party place!

We had an amazing experience at Life. We had a joint party for 7 kids and the team at Life did such a good job including all of the honored children and their families. The coordination was flawless, and we had a great time. Food was yummy and the staff exceptional. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and have another party there! We hosted our son’s Bar Mitzvah at LIFE last weekend and we can’t say enough great things about our experience and the team there. This was our second time hosting a Bar Mitzvah at LIFE and both times they executed flawlessly! Steven, Betty and the entire team are total pros. We had a blast as did all of our guests! I would give ten stars if I could! My son joined a group from his school celebrating their Bnei Mitzvah at Life. From start to finish, Steve Z and Betty were responsive, kind, and anticipated every need. We were well taken care of - the planning, including catering, DJ, buses, everything! was easy, and the execution was seamless. The laser tag room was a big hit, and the food was surprisingly delicious. Steve dealt with our last-minute menu changes with grace, and Betty managed everything with grace and patience. Highly recommend!

Steven and Chelsea, I just wanted to express all my gratitude for everything you did for my daughter's Quinceañera. Steven, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work and host the party at your venue and for being so patient with all my questions. Chelsea, you did an outstanding job with the party. My daughters were absolutely thrilled with you; they couldn't stop talking about how nice you were. You managed everything wonderfully, from a party planner to stepping in as the MC that night ? Everything was perfect, from the food to the DJ . The whole staff was amazing and of course, Ivy with her decoration did an awesome job. I received so many compliments from my guests, who said they had never been to a party like this before. My daughters had an amazing time, and it was truly worth it. Life is the place to be!

Steve and his staff were amazing ever detail of the night was perfect
My daughter was the happiest she could be on her Bat mitzvah. It was exactly what she wanted and the memories of that night Steven and Life created will last forever. They took away all the stress of planning the party. If you are looking for a place to have an event Life is the best place for it.
