Had an amazing visit with Dr L Anthony!
It was a bit of a wait, but only because he spends time with his patients. We were not rushed, Dr Anthony was empathetic, listened, and took the time to get to know us and my husband’s health history. He had a great energy, sharing his excitement/knowledge about current treatments and therapy for NET cancers. We left feeling hopeful and look forward to hearing back from him.

Dr. Anthony treated my mother that had a very rare type of cancer (carcinoid) he was incredible.
Even though we lived in Alabama we followed him from Kenner, La. to Lexington Ky.
He gave my mother at least another ten years of life. IMO. Whenever we had a question he would always return our calls. I have nothing but respect for this kind doctor and human being.

Dr Anthony was very compassionate. I travel 18hrs round trip to see him because my current oncologist told me that he was the doctor that he most trusted to help come up with a game plan to deal with the neuroendocrine cancer I had been diagnosed with. His office got me an appointment and he saw me within a week of my call. I can't thank them enough, not only for the advise but even more for the kindness with which my wife and I were treated with by every one we spoke with there.

Dr. Anthony allowed my net cancer to grow uncontrolled until it spread to my liver. He wrote in my clinical notes that I was not a surgical candidate He spoke extremely condescending to me over the phone. He told me lymph nodes shrink and swell all the time. I had a successful surgery at the University of Tennessee after seeking a second opinion. I hope anyone seeing him has a better experience.

Simply the best. Very compassionate, hopeful, fun dedicated team providing realistic understanding of serious terminal medical condition of gastrin producing pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. When condition exceeded his research trials, Dr Anthony located trial at other research institution and obtained patient’s acceptance into study. When condition exceed those parameters Dr Anthony explained how to access highest level trial and urgently performed specialized imaging and provided detailed records that enabled access to and qualifying of patient for trials at other research institution. Once a patient of Dr Anthony he followed and support patient and spouse throughout the remainder of over five year life of the patient. Dr Anthony and his team demonstrated love, humanity and need for quality of life at every turn. As the spouse, I will always be grateful for him and for the confidence the patient and I always had in the care provided.
