Lashonna was my daughter's favorite nurse. Very patient and made my daughter feel comfortable. She is absolutely amazing. She also has another amazing nurse named Mariah. Very nice as well .

Neuro ICU was tremendous literally was my Son's lifesavers

Would recommend a Hospitality room for parents ... and put vent deflection shields over couches
Also some utility counters for nurses ... they have very small space to work and store supplies

CAFE was good food ...little over priced but I would keep paying if you would give employees discounts ... in Cafe and parking (come on UK u can give them a benefit to stay ....)

11-217. The worst patient care I've had the misfortune to witness. Nurses are unkind, uncaring. More interested in their cellphones and socializing. If I ring the button for help, Average wait time for the nurse is 10 min. (She has to get up from her desk, 1 meter from the closed door) To use the bathroom. My fiance has throat cancer... So I'm quite a bit biased.
I plan on continuing my post. Perhaps a good reason for a social media account.

we had the BEST care at this hospital. My family and I were taken care of by Dr. Ramos and Dr. Ludke. Our Nurses were Caitlin and Abby and I couldn’t be happier with how we were treated and how quickly our tests were completed and received. Their empathy and patient care is unmatched! Especially as Canadian coming to visit and scared after a car wreck happened to us. Thank you so much UK!

During my stay trying to recover from a full back operation on the fifth floor I had a few nurse or tech didn’t come in my room to check on me except one time in 12 hours and when they went to put on my crab shell brace they tugged and pulled so hard that it made my incision at my drain port leak and every time I said it was hurting they said you got to put it on before I can go to the restroom and remind you I just had a major 15 hour surgery their names are mary allison,,Sarah,,,and a pregnant redhead in therapy and the rest of my nurses and techs were nice,, and in housekeeping Sherri Walling did a awesome job every time and a lady named Deborah was such a caring sweetheart and all though I told them over and over that I couldn’t eat tomatoes or anything spicy I still got it with my food every meal except the last 3 days everything started changing showing me compassion and caring that I was in a lot of pain! Anyways just my thoughts!!!!

My Aunt had surgery here. Dr. Frazier and his team was wonderful. But the ICU was not. Very poor service and bad bed side manner's. Not from all nurses but one individual was very rude,and never got things that was needed for my Aunt. I ask for water and we got it 1 hour later. And that is because I had to go ask again from someone else. He was late getting her medication. We ask for a fan...he said he would get one. That never happened. We never got the fan. Just totally disappointed. Said the Nuro floor was the worst people to care for. He needs to a new profession. This is definitely not his calling. But the next room she went..they were amazing. Very nice and thoughtful and kind and caring. Thanks ladies for taking care of my Aunt Betty

Needed to visit the ER at this hospital for a sprained ankle with my daughter. The process of checking her in was swift and they were very attentive to her. Staff was exceptional and courteous keeping us updated on what was going on. This is an extremely busy place. As soon as one "spot" opened up it was immediately filled by another person coming in. With all of the activity, I was surprised we were in and out of there in just over 3 hours.
